Summer's here at last.

Isn't it a relief that the weather's finally warming up? I give it a week until we're all complaining about the heat. That's okay because Wimbledon's due to start on the 27th. It's bound to rain then, so I intend to make the most of it while it lasts

Here's where I like to work, because I'm in the shade, but I'm still covered with Factor 50 sunblock. And yes, that is a toy sword in the planter. It's a happy memory of years of attending reconstructions that doubles as a plant support!

And here's the cat's conservatory that helps to keep my white eared cat safe from skin cancer. Seriously, if you've got a white-eared cat, they need shade and sunscreen if you can get it on them because they're genuinely at risk. So, come to that are the rest of us, so enjoy the weather, but keep out of the sun at the hottest part of the day and always, always, always wear sun screen. Melanoma is not nice; especially since it can go metastatic and spread to all sorts of place and I want you all alive and well and happy!
