So, what have I been doing? Paddling in the sea for the first time, and yes, it was cold but I’d got to the 15th of May without doing it and that couldn’t be allowed to go on… I’ve finished my first draft of the Coronation Amy Hammond and have a list as long as my arm to research, which is fun, so I don’t care. And today's picture, to prove I did it, is me paddling. I hope you'll notice that there's less of me. Still a work in progress but I'm getting there and proud of myself because I'm now in the 'healthy weight' band and focusing on core strength, fitness and being healthy rather than a number on a scale that belongs to a girl I was a long, long time ago...
Anyway, down to business.
This week’s new releases are:
15th May Love by the Sea - An anthology of the first 3 Windy Bay books (A Fresh Start, Starting Over, A Whole New Life)
Priced at £2.99, these are aimed at those who don’t have Kindle Unlimited or live outside the US and UK, so don’t get special offers, although anyone is very welcome to read and enjoy them.
They’re sweet and gentle and set round a little bay and village on the Jurassic Coast in beautiful Dorset and focus on happy beginnings and fresh chances. I did take a bit of a liberty with geography again because they don’t exist, but if you head for Studland and then go about a mile and use your imagination then you might just be able to see them!
Eighteenth of May The Wrong Twin - An Oldcastle Cosy Romance.
This is what I think of as a ‘classic’ romance. Twin sister, bringing up her sister’s baby for reasons that are far too complicated to go into here. Brooding and wealthy hero who’s determined to get custody of the child, even if it means marrying her. Not an ideal start, but can a sometimes adorable toddler bring them together or will love force them apart?
Special Offers UK - starting 17th May
Shadows Romantic Suspense - writing as Eleanor Neville. - A little bit more violent, a bit sexier, but nothing you’d need to worry about a teenager reading. An undercover department of British Intelligence who specialise in making sure things don’t happen by obeying rule 1 which is that no one gets hurt who doesn’t deserve it. Or at least most of the time…
Haunted Angel
Knights Move
Oldcastle Cosy Romances - gentle, sweet, again set in Dorset. What I’d call traditional romances so no graphic sex, no violence and definitely a happy ending.
Having it All
A Whole New Life
19/5/23 -26/5/23 Writing as Eleanor Neville
The Omega Project - What happens if 3 unlikely heroes gain superpowers and a whole lot of people who want control of them? Yes, you may always have wanted to be irresistibly sexy or persuasive or have crippling injuries healed, but that’s not the same as getting it, is it?
And in the US 18th May - 25th May selling at 99c
