Research is a funny thing. You find yourself uncovering things you never expected to and today's discovery is a calendar of celebrations. I don't know about you, but I think we should celebrate more, so I plan to share some of my favourites with you, in good time for you to decide whether to join in or snigger.
June 22nd is National Take Your Cat to Work Day. Now, what could possibly go wrong? Apart, of course, from my cats howling like banshees when you put them in their baskets, sitting on the comfiest chair, extracting treats with menaces and not playing nicely with other cats.
Luckily, I work from home, so my cats work alongside me every day. And here's a photo of the gorgeous Catling.
She is working very hard, keeping the garden safe from mice and birds and snuggling and purring for anyone who might need the comfort of a snuggly cat. (Or anyone who is trying to work despite a cat on their lap. She's only a small cat, so I don't know how she can take up so much space!)
