Here, for everyone who slept through it, is the midsummer sunrise taken from my garden. Beautiful, and yet somehow sad, because from now on the days get shorter, and it's not as if we've had much summer in my part of the world yet. And yet, over on the other side of the world, it's mid-winter and their days will be getting longer. Darkness and light sums the world up, doesn't it? And I wouldn't appreciate either half as much if I didn't have the other.
Wherever you are, have the best day you possibly can. And if it does look like an awful one, then I hope the next ones will be better for you.
