Okay, I’ve put it off for six months because I hate having my picture taken, but people have asked, and so here it is, along with an insight into the wonderful world of a writer.
This is me, trying to do a proof read on paper, because you pick up things you don’t see on screen. And that is Lord Willow, who thinks that I should be making a fuss of him. And feeding him. Not cat food, either…
I’ve just started the long delayed healthy eating plan because it struck me that my ‘baby’ is now twenty, so it probably isn’t baby fat. The last few years have been tough enough without adding anything else to it, let alone giving up chocolate, but now’s the time, and I’m proud to say that I’ve lost eleven pounds in my first month. We won’t mention how many more there are to go, but I will keep you posted because I know I’m not the only one who is reassessing what I eat and drink. Not dieting. A diet is something you do for a bit, then stop (well, it is, isn’t it!) This is a change to my lifestyle, using recipes from here - https://pinchofnom.com/ and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
They’re not paying me, but any diet that lets me have churros and chocolate sauce and amazing food in decent sized portions deserved to be shared.
The other book I’m liking is Fiona Ferris’s 30 Slim Days and she's not paying me either! You can see it here http://www.howtobechic.com/2017/03/thirty-slim-days-is-here.html if you’re interested. I like all the books in this series because I like reading a little bit each day and then having a go at it if it appeals to me. Sometimes they become habits, sometimes they don’t, but it makes me think about why I do what I do, and that’s always good.
So, wish me luck, and all encouragement will be gratefully received because I hope you’ll be seeing a lot less of me in future posts! If you’ve got any tips, then please share because this is a long-term project.
