I didn’t sleep well, and the birds are all growing up and not so cute any more, so there's not much to report here, except that on Thursday there are two new books out as well as the usual 99p/99c Special Offers, which are
The first Harbourside books - Picking up the pieces
The Covid Amy book - Echoes
Some slightly spooky ones The Omega Problem and Twice Shy
A Book of Christmas stories called A Christmas Sampler
And 3 books from the Shadows series which I write as Eleanor Neville, and which are now entwining with the Tia Brown books. Those are to be the best, Professional Hero and Enemy Within and if you like Dr Simon Jones then these are his stories.
Most of all, though, and with thanks to all who’ve asked for more Windy Bay books, on Thursday, the first book in a new 3 part series - It takes a Village is being published. I often snigger about the genre of books which starts with a dead unknown relative leaving you a lovely cottage in an idyllic spot that’s packed with gorgeous men just when you need a total change. But what if you loved the person very much and were about to start a life that was all you’d dreamed of when it collapsed around you? Meet old friends and make new ones, and let me know what you think.

Then we’re off to Oldcastle, to meet up with Ellie Foster, sister of Mike Foster the hero of a ‘Whole New Life’ and childminder to Hannah in ‘Having it All.’ Happy Never After joins her when her daughter leaves home and everyone thinks they know exactly what she needs to do next. Then a bombshell hits her that her family have known about and hidden from her and the only person who understands Is Steve Grey, the builder from ‘A Woman to be Reckoned With.’ And if you wondered what happened to the stroppy teenager from that book, then now’s your chance to find out.

So have the best time you can, and hopefully, by Sunday it’ll be cooler again and I won’t feel so ucky!
