CAKES AND DOLPHINS.

I know that’s an odd combination, but there’s now a new blog section with recipes from the books in it, so I’d love to know what you think of it.

Secondly, some people were surprised that Luke, Tony and the children saw dolphins in ‘Never Again’. So, just for them, here’s a link to our local paper https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/26089395.photographer-spots-15-dolphins-along-purbeck-coast/ Yes, they really did spot fifteen of them when they weren’t looking for them. The most I’ve ever spotted was four, but I’ve also seen basking seals, sea eagles, ospreys, and so many rare birds that I take it for granted. Have a look here to see what I’m lucky enough to get a look at as they fly overhead. https://www.birdsofpooleharbour.co.uk/sightings/

Today’s dose of cuteness is some very young greylag goslings, safely out of sight of herons, ospreys and sea eagles, and there's an added picture of my harbour. at the top because it was such a lovely day when I took it that I wanted to share it with you. Technically, it belongs to the Harbour Commissioners, but I, like many of the others who walk there, feel very possessive about it and love and care for it and the birds who live there.

If you’re ever passing, you’re looking for Whitecliffe, Baiter or Harbourside Parks or Parkstone Bay Nature Reserve. They all blend into each other, so I call them Harbourside.
